The hand control and, above all, its cable. On a handset that gets dropped and stepped on several times a day, the fault is almost always in the cable or in the keypad membrane, not in the bed. We replace the cable, recover the membrane and check it button by button.

Typical symptoms
- A button does not respond, or has to be pressed hard.
- It works depending on how the cable is positioned.
- The connector is loose or works its way out.
- Water or dirt gets in through the housing.
The repair includes
- Bench diagnosis before anything is touched.
- Replacement of the components that failed, not of the whole board.
- Load testing for long enough that an intermittent fault shows up.
- A report with the results of those tests.
- Shipping both ways, at our expense.
Turnaround
Ten working days from the moment the unit reaches the bench.
Warranty
Six months. If the unit comes back with the same fault within that time, we look at it again at no charge.
