Linak CB12

Repair

Linak CB12

Control box for articulated beds

The control box that drives the actuators of a Linak bed. When it fails, the bed usually stops responding to one of the movements, or goes completely dead. Nearly always it is an output stage or the power supply, not the whole board.

We tell you whether it can be fixed, what it costs and how long it takes. If it cannot be fixed, we tell you that too.

Typical symptoms

  • The bed does not respond to one or more movements.
  • Nothing powers up, with the handset plugged in and mains present.
  • It works from cold and stops after a while.
  • You can hear the relay but the actuator does not move.

The repair includes

  • Bench diagnosis before anything is touched.
  • Replacement of the components that failed, not of the whole board.
  • Load testing for long enough that an intermittent fault shows up.
  • A report with the results of those tests.
  • Shipping both ways, at our expense.

Turnaround

Ten working days from the moment the unit reaches the bench.

Warranty

Six months. If the unit comes back with the same fault within that time, we look at it again at no charge.
